Actavis has had a presence in Slovakia since 2004, when it opened a sales and marketing office in Bratislava.
The portfolio mainly consists of cardiovascular, central nervous system, dermatological and oncological products. The Actavis has a wide portfolio of modern pharmaceuticals and through acquisition of Pharma Avalanche in 2005 gained direct access to both the Czech and Slovakian markets.
Actavis now employs 36 people and has around 50 products on the market, with further new products in the pipeline.
