Actavis Italy Spa

Actavis Italy was founded in 2006. In 2008 , Actavis acquired Pfizer production plant located in Nerviano. Since the Seventies', this plant has always enjoyed a great reputation and has created a great tradition in the manufacturing of injectable products, namely anti-cancer drugs, with high quality and EHS standards.

The plant has four departments for the manufacturing of aseptic solutions, suspensions and freeze-dried in vials and solutions in ampoules.

It produces approximately 30 millions packs/year, marketed worldwide.
As of from September 2009, a new laboratory for the development of new drugs will be available.

At present, Actavis Italy employs about 370 people and manufactures and distributes a broad portfolio of high quality generic products, as well as selected established brands and innovative products.

The plant is located in Nerviano, northwest of Milan, at a 20-minute drive from Milan and from Malpensa airport.
