In early 2005, Actavis acquired the Czech and Slovakian sales and marketing company Pharma Avalanche.

In the czech market, Actavis is actively registering and launching both generic and branded first class Actavis products. The portfolio consists mainly of drugs from CVS and CNS therapeutic groups. The total number of marketed products/presentations is more than 60.

Currently there are 59 employees working in the Czech branch.
