Situated between the Russia and Poland, Belarus is one of the republics of the former USSR.
Actavis has operated a representative office in the country’s capital, Minsk, since 2000. Working through local distributors, it sells pharmaceuticals, veterinary products and APIs, and has achieved significant business growth. In 2003 Actavis was listed as one of the top five foreign manufacturers supplying the pharmaceutical market of Belarus*.
