PT Actavis Indonesia is based in Jakarta and employs over 400 people. A broad product portfolio is supporting an aggressive growth strategy for both the domestic market and exports to Asia, Australia and Europe.
Since its establishment in 1969, the company has been a major player in the Indonesian pharmaceutical market. Today’s product portfolio consists of prescription-based products as well as strong OTC (over-the-counter) brands.
In order to provide a world class quality of the generic products to the customers, the production facility of PT Actavis Indonesia has passed a EU GMP which was last audited in October 2009:
- Solid non-penicillin products
- Solid penicillin products
- Semi-solid products
Actavis Indonesia is also continuously showing its commitment to guarantee the compatibility from a process and the product towards the requirement of the management system by holding the integrated ISO since November 2008:
- ISO 9001 : 2008 for Quality Management,
- ISO 14001 : 2004 for Environment Management and
- OHSAS 18001 : 2007 for Health and Safety Management
Another achievement of PT Actavis Indonesia was the Jakarta Governor’s Award for the seventh consecutive year for its waste water treatment facility, demonstrating a strong commitment to a quality and environmentally friendly operation.
PT Actavis Indonesia seeks to cooperate with local and foreign pharmaceutical companies in the area of Toll Manufacturing and Distribution Business. This cooperation is based on a “Win Win Solution”, because the products are manufactured by a pharmaceutical company which has an international standard of quality and a global network, giving a special added value to its finished products, such as quality recognition of finished products by European countries and also the facilitation to export such finished products. Presently, PT Actavis has already entered into cooperation with many local as well as foreign pharmaceutical companies in Toll Manufacturing and Distribution Business.
