PT Actavis Indonesia is based in Jakarta and employs over 300 people. A broad product portfolio is supporting an aggressive growth strategy for both the domestic market and exports to Asia, Australia and Europe.
Since its establishment in 1969, the company has been a major player in the Indonesian pharmaceutical market. Today’s product portfolio consists of prescription-based products as well as strong OTC (over-the-counter) brands.
The production facility of PT Actavis Indonesia passed a EU GMP audit in November 2006 for:
• Solid non-penicillin products
• Solid penicillin products
• Semi-solid products
In 2007, Actavis Indonesia received the Jakarta Governor’s Award for its waste water treatment facility for the seventh consecutive year, demonstrating a strong commitment to a quality and environmentally friendly operation.
